Multilayered Functional Triboelectric Polymers for Self-Powered Wearable Applications: A Review
نویسندگان
چکیده
Multifunctional wearable devices detect electric signals responsive to various biological stimuli and monitor present body motions or conditions, necessitating flexible materials with high sensitivity sustainable operation. Although dielectric polymers have been utilized in self-powered applications response multiple external stimuli, their intrinsic limitations hinder further device performance enhancement. Because triboelectric comprising are based on triboelectrification electrostatic induction, multilayer-stacking structures of enable significant improvements owing enhanced interfacial polarization through dissimilar permittivity conductivity between each layer, resulting high-performance devices. Moreover, novel unique chemical nano-additives can control polarization, allowing respond stimuli. This review summarizes the recent insights into multilayered functional polymers, including fundamental principles diverse applications.

Mercury is a highly toxic metal that can pose serious dangers to the environment and human health. Therefore, monitoring the mercury concentration is an extremely important issue to prevent such a toxic metal from endangering human life. Hg ions are by far the most stable inorganic form of mercury, which are non-biodegradable and bioaccumulable. Even at a very low concentrations, they can still...

Stretchable fiber and yarn triboelectric nanogenerator are sought for such applications as wearable sensing system such as cloth communication devices, electronic textiles, and robotic sensory skin. Unfortunately, previously reported triboelectric fiber and yarn are difficult to have stretchable property. We introduce here a new type of stretchable and weavable triboelectric fibers with microdi...
متن کاملSelf-powered magnetic sensor based on a triboelectric nanogenerator.
Magnetic sensors are usually based on the Hall effect or a magnetoresistive sensing mechanism. Here we demonstrate that a nanogenerator can serve as a sensor for detecting the variation of the time-dependent magnetic field. The output voltage of the sensor was found to exponentially increase with increasing magnetic field. The detection sensitivities for the change and the changing rate of magn...
